What is the Average Angler?
Welcome to the Average Angler website for the United Kingdom. As a fisherman in UK you are probably a bit curious as to what this site is all about and whether or not it will appeal to you. As the name suggests, it is a fishing website that will try to provide information on tackle, tips, catches, travel reports , books and DVD`s to the average fisherman who loves to be by the water but probably can`t get to all those great locations that we see advertised so often.
Don`t forget though, that most of us are lucky enough to be close to reasonable venues that others would like to fish so, if we can give you ideas to land more fish in your area, or help those anglers who can travel a bit, then we all win.
